Colts 4 A Cause
Our family is committed to giving back to the community who has given us so much over the past few years. Especially after the Kenow Fire burnt our ranch down. We were overwhelmed with the tremendous community support including donations of hay, bedding, and money to help us rebuild. We are so thankful, so this is our way of paying it forward.
Every year we select a cause where we will provide a "Colt" for them to utilize as a raffle or giveaway. This Pay-It-Forward Pony is very important to us. If you are a non-profit or registered charity and would like to be considered for this donation, please contact; Melody Garner-Skiba at
[email protected]. Make sure to tell her about your charity or non-profit, how you would use the proceeds, and whom you help. All submissions must be sent in prior to December 31st each year and then a cause will be chosen.
In 2019, we are pleased to partner with the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association where we are raffling off a horse for them. We were pleased to give Azure Sage Hen away to Trina/Serena Bruised Head and Wilton Day Chief. Over $6,000 was raised for the Lethbridge Therapeutic Riding Association with Silver. (As you can tell, it was a little breezy the day they picked her up!) Trina told us that her grand daughter Serena and Silver were going to grow together and we are excited to follow their adventure!
