Like most successful programs that are in the breeding business, we feel it is important to bring along young stock out of proven crosses for the future. RHR Plenty Blue is by our franchise stallion RW Ames Blue and by one of our top producing mares Plenty Blue Sister. By rights this will continue to give our program a double dose of gentile, willing, durable, and "Family Friendly" genetics for for many years. He was started under saddle by trainer and clinician Renee Gareau in the winter of 2016. She explained that he was so easy to train and was always a complete gentlemen around mares in the barn. His first small set of foals will be on the ground in May and June of 2018. If he is anything like his sire and dam we expect that he will become a future star producer for Rocking Heart Ranch.
