Want to be one of our interns and spend this summer riding the Rocky Mountains as well as meeting a ton of great people and helping foal out our mare herd? If you are looking for a summer internship that will expose you to a large breeding operation where you will also increase your knowledge and skills in the saddle and in the equine tourism industry, then don't miss this opportunity.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!
Horse Expo Canada and Rocking Heart Ranch are pleased to announce the 2025 Young Guns Colt Starting Challenge!!
It will be hosted on September 26-28th, 2025 at Rocking Heart Ranch and will feature 5 up and coming horse trainers. The winner of the challenge will be invited to the 2026 Horse Expo Trainer's Challenge and be able to compete against the Big Guns! We are accepting applications from now until March 1st with the competitors announced at the Trainer's Finale Showdown at Horse Expo in March.
If you are a new or young trainer who is looking to make their mark, you won't want to miss applying to this challenge. Applicants must have an online presence and be willing to commit to growing it as well as working with a long 2 year old of Rocking Heart Ranch over the 3 day period in a multitude of sessions. Tickets will also be sold to the event with more details in early 2025 coming on how you can be part of the action.

-30 day moneyback guarantee only applies if horse has not been injured or hurt while in your possession and a vet certificate may be asked for confirmation of this. Papers are not transferred until 30 days have expired.
-In-house financing requires a contract and mortality insurance to be placed on the horse at the buyer's expense.
-proof of membership for 4-H and Pony Club discount must be shown and transfer papers made out to the youth.
