What a great day. 11 youth proved that some of the best future horse training talent in the country resides right here in Alberta as they demonstrated their accomplishments on 11 of our AQHA foundation bred Weanlings from Rocking Heart Ranch after 5 weeks of halter training. Talk about tough to judge, only 12 points separated the top 8 trainers (7 points on the top 5). When the dust settled the Grand Champion was Kayla Zeilke (Pincher Creek) with RHR Moon Valentine, Reserve Grand Champion Kaityln Llewelyn (Red Deer) with RHR Poco Valentine, and Runner Up Tate Matson (Fort Macleod) with RHR Hancock Te. Brydelle Wardely (Alex, AB) was the big draw-prize winner taking home a 2014 Rocking Heart Ranch gelding.
